Uploading
files is similar to an FTP transfer. Your file is compressed
in the background, and de-compressed when it finishes transferring.
Any number of files can be transferred, but none will begin
to process until the end of the last file reaches our server.
After
the transfer, your files are processed. Your original file
remains intact, as uploaded.
Only
Postscript or PDF files will process on arrival.
Upload
will open a Java applet to allow pages to be sent to the
job folder. Depending on your workflow, they will process
and be available to view immediately after processing.

Upload
Name – Use the folio range of the pages of that upload.
You
can add any number of files to the window by dragging the
file to the window, or navigating to them with the small
green arrow on the right of the bottom half of the screen
Notes
– should not be used! They will not be seen in Prepress,
or Customer Service.

During
the upload process, the upload window will close and an
upload status bar will open. You can cancel the upload,
or allow it to finish when you will be presented with a
Close button.
When
Close is pressed, the processing status of the files
will be displayed.
You
must read this processing log. This is how you will
know if your files have lo res images, missing fonts or
if other errors may have occurred.
